Join Us for the Annual Boots for Food Drive!
Qualicum Beach firefighters are calling on our amazing community to lend a hand during this year’s “Fill the Boots for Food Drive” happening on Saturday, November 16 and Sunday, November 17 from 10 AM to 2 PM.
You can find firefighters at various locations around town, collecting cash donations for the local Salvation Army Food Bank. Here’s where you can meet us:
- Qualicum Beach Farmers Market (Saturday only)
- Qualicum Beach Fire Station (130 Rupert Rd E)
- Qualicum Beach Liquor Store (706 Primrose St)
- Qualicum Foods (705 Memorial Ave)
- Eaglecrest (Eaglecrest Dr at Clubhouse Dr – Saturday only)
- Chartwell (Chartwell Blvd at Sunrise Dr – Sunday only)
Help us, help others. Your contributions are vital in helping the Salvation Army support those in need within our community. Please stop by, say hello, and make a donation!
Since its inception in 1997, this drive has grown to include eight departments in District 69: Bow Horn Bay, Coombs Hilliers, Dashwood, Deep Bay, Errington, Nanoose, Parksville, and Qualicum Beach. Be sure to check with your local fire department for their collection locations and show your support!
Each year, the generosity of Oceanside residents shines through, and our firefighters are excited for another successful year.
We truly appreciate your support!

The firefighting skid includes a 1,000L tank, pumps and hoses and will be placed in the back of a current pickup truck. The unit will be mounted in Rescue 57 (pictured here) in the summer months to support wildfire suppression efforts in places conventional fire apparatus can’t access.
